It is known that mega producer Allu Aravind has launched an OTT platform with the name Aha which is exclusively for Telugu content. There will be movies, original content in Telugu language that is available in this streaming app. Though Allu Aravind and team are coming out with innovative ideas they are to beat out the OTT giants like Netflix, Prime, Hotstar which are settled in market from months ago.
In addition to this, Aha originals haven’t caught up well to the expectations set to bring in more subscribers. Content in Aha is less similar to the OTT giants. So the Allu Aravind and Co have decided to go all out. He is approaching Tollywood film makers to give worthy content for their platform.
These directors will work in collaboration which each other and supervise content that comes in their way. They will also curate the content that needs to be filmed. If possible they will direct and produce the content too. For example, Harish Shankar and Krish have teamed up and they are going to work together. Other directors like VI Anand, Chandra Siddharth, Nandini Reddy, Sankalp are in Allu Aravind’s team now to work for the development of this platform. We have to see what will happen once lock down gets lifted.
