Chiranjeevi started his acting career with Punadirallu in the year 1978, but Pranam Khareedu turned out to be the first film that released in the cinema halls. Manavoori Pandavulu brought him recognition as an actor in Tollywood. He is known for acting in Idi Katha Kaadu, Mosagadu, Rani Kasula Rangamma and Nyayam Kavali. Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya, Subhalekha and Patnam Vachina Pativrathalu. He started his second innings with Khaidi No 150, which was a decent hit at the box office and his previous offering was Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Currently he is busy in the shoot of Acharya.
