Allu Arjun, who is known for his kind heart and helping nature, has donated Rs 25 Lakhs for Kerela Flood relief. Today Stylish Star Allu Arjun took to his twitter and announced, “My Heartful Prayers to the Victims who were effected by floods in Kerala. #KeralaFloods #Keralarains.”
Allu Arjun again wrote on the wall of Twitter, “People of Kerala will always occupy a special place in my heart for the unmatchable Love & Affection they shower . Their Love & the Loss is Unmatchable. But still I take the Honour to do my bit. I hereby pledge to donate 25,00,000 for the #KeralaFloodRelief . Love “M”Allu Arjun”
Kerala is going through its worst flood crisis. Many have lost their relatives and houses. Floods have affected and even killed a number of people and left thousands homeless. As of the latest count, a total of 37 people have lost their lives and around 36,000 more have been displaced. Around 10 of the 14 districts in state have been affected by the floods. Kerala, famed for its pristine palm-lined beaches and tea plantations, is battered by the monsoon every year but the rains have been particularly severe this season. Some parts of Kerala, which is considered as god’s own country, have been badly hit by floods, which has devastated these areas with many losing their loved ones, homes and land. In emergencies like this, Army has once again come forward to start rescue operations.
Kollywood stars like Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Karthi Vijay and Telugu star Vijay Devarakonda have made a generous donation of Rs 80 lakh together for the flood victims of Kerala.
Arjun Reddy star Vijay Devarakonda tweeted, “And now I hear Kerala is reeling under floods and situation is quite bad! Kerala was my first holiday destination and has given me a lot of love for my work, I’ve met a lot of people from there who are some of the nicest people I know, I don’t know how to reach out personally.”
Allu Arjun is not only well known face for Telugu audiences, but he is also popular in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
