Mega Producer Allu Arvind is releasing Dhanush starrer Naane Varuvean as Nene Vastunna in Telugu states on 29th September and Dil Raju is releasing Ponniyin Selvan in Telugu states on 30th September. Both the movies will compete each other as the box office and try to eat the revenue of other.
Dhanush starrer Naane Varuvean is getting ready for its worldwide release on 29th September. The action drama is directed by Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan and it reunites them after Mayakkam Enna.
Meanwhile, the Telugu version of the film will be released by mega producer Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts Production in Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie will clash with Mani Ratnam’s mega movie Ponniyin Selvan: I, which will be released by Dil Raju in Telugu states on 30th September.
Ponniyan Selvan has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aadukalam Kishore, Rahman, Vikram Prabhu, Riyaz Khan, Arjun Chidambaram, and others.
Naane Varuvean/ Nene Vastunna is written and directed by Selvaraghavan. It has Dhanush and Elli AvrRam in the lead roles. Dhanush will be seen as a cowboy and will be playing dual roles, one, as a protagonist and other, as an antagonist in this film.
