Amala Paul is a popular name in the South Indian film Industry. She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. She made her Kannada debut in the film Hebbuli, opposite Sudeep. After appearing in a supporting role in the Malayalam-language film Neelathamara, Paul became noted for playing the title role in Mynaa. She made her debut in Tollywood in 2011 with the movie Bejawada. She has shared the screen space with Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in Telugu film Industry. Amala Paul said, “When I went to the Telugu industry, I realized that there is nepotism and family concept there. Telugu industry is dominated by star families. The films they make are very different. All are commercial movies. In most of the movies there have two heroines. Love scenes, songs and everything only for glamour. That’s why I gave up many films in Telugu as I didn’t like it. I have not been able to connect much with the Telugu industry.” Amala Paul’s comments on Tollywood are going viral.
