Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan injured while shooting for the upcoming Pan Indian film Project K in which Rebel star Prabhas and Deepika Padukone are playing the lead roles. Big B confirmed the same on his blog. The reports are coming that he is currently resting at his home in Mumbai. It was clarified that he was injured while participating in the action sequence in the shooting of Project K, which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Nag Ashwin who is best known for helming blockbuster drama Mahanati.
Big B said he suffered an injury to rib cartilage and a muscle tear. He added that all his work commitments have been cancelled as he recuperates at home.
Amitabh Bachchan wrote: In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, I have got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to right rib cage, I canceled shoot, I did Doctor consult and scan by CT at the AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home , strapping has been done and rest been advocated. I will take some weeks they say before some normalization will occur. some medication is on also for pain .
