Buchi Babu Sana made his directorial debut with romantic drama Uppena in which Vaishnaav Tej played the lead role and the movie was a blockbuster at the box office. Now according to the latest report, Sukumar has brought Buchi Babu Sana on the board for Pushpa 2. Sukumar and a team of writers are currently working on the script of this upcoming drama which has Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.
Buchi Babu Sana is also participating in the story discussion of Pushpa 2. Buchi Babu Sana is a former associate of star director Sukumar and he shares a very close rapport with the ace filmmaker who is presently busy with Pushpa duology.
The success of Pushpa: The Rise across India has led the team to believe that the script requires multiple changes, and as a result, director Sukumar has been busy rewriting the story for Pushpa 2. The huge success of other south Indian movies like RRR an d KGF 2 is said to be pressuring the director to include more mass elements that will appeal to both South and North audiences in a big way.
For the time being, the makers of this upcoming rural drama has not provided any updates on the shooting schedules or other pre-production work, and the fans of Allu Arjun are still waiting.
