It is known news that NTR Biopic is being made in two parts- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. The first part NTR Kathanayakudu, directed by Krish has already arrived at the theaters on 9th January 2019 on the occasion of Sankranthi. Though the movie received positive response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day but the collection rate of NTR Kathanayakudu is not up to the mark. Recently in an interview, Krish has given hint that if producer will permit, he will also helm the NTR part 3. This is a big shock to Nandamuri Fans.
Krish’s diretcorial venture NTR biopic NTR Kathanayakudu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan, has continued it’s poor run in both Telugu States as the film has collected less than 50 lakhs share on it’s third day. It has dropped 50% or even more in some areas from 2nd day which itself was poor. At the USA box office, NTR Kathanayakudu has collected $ 707K but Krish’s directorial venture needs to gross more than $ 2.2M to break-even.
Recently Krish attended an interview and opened up about the controversial episode that happened in NTR’s life. He also gave hint that he might show the controversial episode in the third part of NTR biopic. Now everyone is eager to know that whether Krish will highlight Lakshmi Parvati or Viceroy Hotel episode of Chandrababu?
Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role of his father, legendary actor and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and Vidya Balan is essaying NTR’s wife in NTR Kathanayakudu. Recently during the media interaction, Nandamuri Balakrishna revealed, “I grew up admiring him. And for long, I had the desire to play characters which he did. But, with time, the taste of people also change. I was concerned whether people would watch such movies if they were to be made today. But, NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR: Mahanayakudu fulfilled my desire to play all the characters played by my father.”
