Lock down which was supposed to be for two weeks is being implemented from the past 40 days. Now the central government has taken its decision to extend the lock down for two more weeks till May 17th. After that according to the situation government will take a decision on restrictions and relaxations. However entertainment is last priority in the current situation. Theaters, Shopping Malls will be the last ones to be given permission by government to be open.
According to analysts things will not be normal for theaters, multiplexes until July which means it will be hell lot of burden for small movies. With this small film makers are turning towards OTT platforms. Already first Telugu film to have direct digital release Amrutaramam got released. However with poor ratings it fell flat. Zee5 has taken the streaming rights for this movie.
Now according to the latest update another movie is going to take the same route. Ravikanth Perepu of Kshanam fame has directed a movie titled Krishna And His Leela which is presented by Rana Daggubati. Suresh Babu has thought to distribute the film but it seems like due to current circumstances he backed off. News is that Zee5 is going to stream this movie directly soon.
