Popular actress Madhuri Dixit‘ mother Snehalata Dixit (90) passed away. She breathed her last at her home in Mumbai on Sunday. Madhuri and her husband Sriram Nene revealed this. Snehalata Dixit breathed her last in the presence of family members. Madhuri said that Snehalatha will be cremated at the crematorium in Worli at 3.00 pm. However, the cause of Snehalata’s death is not yet known.
In a joint statement Madhuri Dixit and her husband Shriram Nene said, “Our beloved Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.”
On the occasion of her mother’s 90th birthday last year, Madhuri wished her on social media. She commented that daughters have no close friends other than their mother. She sincerely thanked hermother for teaching her many things in life.
Madhuri Dixit is a popular name in Bollywood. She married Dr Sriram Nene in 1999, and couple has two sons. Last month, Shriram Nene had written a sweet post about his mother-in-law. He tweeted, “My 90-year-old mother-in-law paints. She is the loveliest, most positive person in world. We had her paintings placed on mugs to remind us of her talent.”
