The young hero from a mega family- Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej is making his debut in Telugu film Industry with romantic movie Uppena, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Uppena, which has Krithi Shetty in the female lead role, was supposed to hit the theaters in the month of March but the makers postponed its release due to coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown. As a part of promotional activities, the makers have already released the three songs that received superb response from the music lovers. Vijay Sethupathi is playing a crucial role and will be seen essaying the role of Krithi Shetty’ dad. Now according to the latest buzz, the Uppena climax has a tragic end.
Uppena is made on a budget of Rs 22 crores and Sukumar is the co-producer of this romantic film along with Mythri Movie Makers. The sources say that recently Sukumar watched the film and he is super confident about the output but as Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer Uppena has a tragic ending. It is worrying the producers. Telugu movie lovers are not habitual of anti climaxes and the makers are in tension.
Sukumar showed the film Uppena to some of his close industry friends and collected the feedback. Though few suggested to change the climax but Sukumar and Buchi Babu are against this.
