It was the fifth and the final attempt for the Telangana Man, Anudeep Durishetty when he took All India Civil Services Examinations 2017 held by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The 28 years old Anudeep topped the civil service exam. The results were declared on Friday.
Anudeep Durishetty, a native of Chittapur village near Metpally town in Jagityal district of Telangana, is the son of D Manohar, who is working as an assistant divisional engineer with Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Ltd and his mother D Jyothi is a homemaker. Anudeep Durishetty is presently working as Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer in Hyderabad.
Anudeep Durishetty said, “In my second attempt in 2013, I got the IRS cadre and was appointed as a customs and central excise officer. This year it was my last attempt and I put my heart and soul. Finally I became successful to achieve my goal as I topped the Civil services. I qualified Civil services Mains exam with anthropology as my subject”
KTR took to micro-blogging site Twitter and congratulated Anudeep Durishetty, he tweeted, “Many Congratulations to Anudeep Durisetty of Karimnagar/Jagitial district who stood as the All India civil services topper in the UPSC2017”
Jana Sena President and Power Star Pawan Kalyan also wrote on the wall of Twitter, “My heartfelt congratulations to Sri D. Anudeep (Metpalli, jagityala,Telengana) For achieving first Rank at National level in “union public service commission” exams.We are proud of your achievement.
