It is known news that Mega Power Star Ram Charan acquired the remake rights of Malayalam drama Lucifer in which Mega Star Chiranjeevi will play the lead role. Jayam Mohan Raja is on the board to helm this remake of Chiranjeevi.
The film was supposed to commence the first schedule earlier this month, but the shooting has been postponed due to the rise of coronavirus cases in Telugu states. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of Lucifer remake approached Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap to play the role of antagonist in Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake but he rejected the offer by saying no.
Now the makers of Lucifer remake are in the hunt of a popular Telugu villain who is known for his powerful roles in several blockbusters. Earlier during an interview Mohan Raja had said, “I had remade 6 Telugu movies and that has psychologically kept me close to Tollywood. Moreover, people still remember Hanuman Junction and it was a huge hit when it came out at the theaters. With that knowledge and experience, I am confident in doing a wonderful movie now.”
Earlier there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Nayantara is also the part of Chiranjeevi starrer Lucifer remake but there is no update regarding her inclusion in this.
