Recently, it has been in the news that star cricketer Virat Kohli‘s wife Anushka Sharma is all set to perform a biopic of the former renowned Indian female fast bowler Jhulan Goswami, titled ‘Chakda Express’. The plot of the film is the definition of the circumstantial life of Goswami.
Currently, Anushka Sharma is in her preparation to prosper with the film. In this film, she sustains as a cricketer. As soon as she agreed with the film script, she shared her perspectives about the film. She said, “Chakda Express is a unique film that tells about an immense forfeiture by Jhulan Goswami.
It is an influenced story based on women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan committed to turn into a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was complicated for a woman to think of playing the game. The biopic will be released on an OTT platform in this year. It will be run by Prosit Roy, bankrolled by Karnesh Ssharma and the story was penned by Abhishek Banerjee.
