Nagaiah, who was one of the popular actor of South Indian film Industry, passed away on 27th march due to age-related ailments. Anushka Shetty shared a photo with Nagaiah on her Instagram to pay an ode. Nagaiah was 77 years old. He got his name for his portrayal of Ramulu in Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Anushka Shetty and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Vedam by Krish Jagarlamudi which was released in 2010. Reports state that Nagaiah had been battling age related ailments for some time now. Sadly, he took his last breath yesterday.
Baahubali girl Anushka Shetty took to her instagram and wrote, “A good soul has ascended to heaven. My deepest condolences to Nagaiah garu’ family and may god bless and comfort them during this time of grief.”
Nagaiah hailed from Desavaram Peta,Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, was initially noticed by director Krish Jagarlamudi, who gave him the opportunity to act in Allu Arjun and Anushka starrer Vedam. He made a name for himself in the movie and was fondly called Vedam Nagaiah. He is known for acting in Ye Maya Chesave, Spyder, Okkadine, Nagavalli, Gamanam and Balupu. He was receiving a pension every month of Rs 2500.
KTR also offered condolences on the passing away of Nagaiah.
