Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise, directed by Sukumar, is still running successfully at the box office. The movie marked their first collaboration. Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade, who has given his voice to Allu Arjun’ character in the Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise, is receiving applause from all quarters for his work. Playback singer Smita Malhotra has dubbed Rashmika Mandanna’ character in the Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise. Earlier Smita Malhotra had shared Pushpa’s Hindi trailer on her Instagram, saying that she dubbed for Rashmika’s character in Hindi.
In the caption, the playback singer Smita Malhotra also mentioned that she had first dubbed for Devasena’s role (played by Anushka Shetty) in the Baahubali franchise and after that, she started enjoying dubbing for south Indian movies.
Smita Malhotra had also given her voice for Frozen 2. She lent her voice to the character of Arendelle’s Queen in Frozen 2 that was well received. She has also crooned many songs like Yaadon Ki Nadiya, Tu Kaun Hai etc.
Based in Mumbai, Smita Malhotra, a native of Delhi, has over 20 years of experience behind the microphone, dubbing for films as well as advertisements. She has also dubbed for actors such as Katrina Kaif, Ileana D’Cruz and Yami Gautam, apart from lending her voice to lead characters in Hindi dubs of Hollywood animation movies.
