According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Anushka Shetty has been approached to play the female lead in upcoming much hyped movie Adipurush which has Young Rebel star Prabhas in the lead role. It is known news that few days ago Om Raut made official announcement regarding his next project Adipurush in which Prabhas will play the screen presence in the role of Lord Rama whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of Lankesh.
Anushka Shetty and Prabhas’ pairing was praised immensely in SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali series and fans are even rooting for them to come together in real life. Earlier it was also heard that Prabhas would tie the knot with Anushka but later both refuted the rumor.
Anushka Shetty, who is known for her performances in Rudhramadevi, Arundhati and Baahubali series, slammed the reports that she is playing the role of Sita in Prabhas starrer Adipurush. Several leading heroines were lined with this project of Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, but none has been finalized yet. Of late, Arundhati fame Anushka Shetty was rumored to play the role of Sita opposite him but the actress refuted this fresh rumor.
Meanwhile Anushka Shetty will be seen as a mute artist in Nishabdham, which is releasing on 2nd October on Amazon Prime.
