Among the leading actresses in southern cinema, Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty enjoys a large fan base and market of her own which has helped her films at the box-office over the years. Her latest release Bhaagamathie is no exception as the film has stirred up a storm at the ticket window. With no other new big Telugu releases, Anushka’s woman centric movie ‘Bhaagamathie’, directed by G. Ashok, marched on and has collected $1.31 million at the overseas box-office. Apart from Anushka, the film has other stars like Jayaram, Unni Mukundan, Asha Sarath and Murali Sharma in important roles.
Mega couple Ram Charan and Upasana also watched Bhaagamathie at the theaters recently. Charan took to Facebook and wrote, “Happened to watch #Bhagmathie last night. Mind blowing performance by Anushka. Great technical and production values. A huge shout out to Team Bhagmathie . Congratulations guys on a great job.”
Charan also revealed something about his loving wife Upasana. He said, “ #confessiontime the wifey couldn’t sleep last night thanks to the movie.”
