The eagerly awaited iPhone 15 models of all the tech lovers of the world have arrived. Apple released the new iPhone 15 models along with Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 at an event called ‘Wonderlust’ last night in San Francisco. This time iPhone has made unexpected changes in the charging mode. USB C type charging facility has been introduced instead of Lightning charger. It is noteworthy that these are the first phones to come without Lightning charging. Let’s take a look at the other features and the price.
iPhone 15, 15 Plus 128 GB variant prices in India are Rs.79,900 and Rs. 89,900 onwards. Both of these are available in Black, Blue, Green, Pink and Yellow colors. Pro orders will start from 15th of this month, while sales of iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will start from 22nd of this month. These come with 512 GB of storage. The iPhone 15 Pro 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 1,34,900, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 1,59,900. Both these handsets are also available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage variants.
iPhone 15 comes with Dual SIM (Nano). A 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display is used. The phone has ceramic shield protection for added protection. The Dynamic Island feature used in the iPhone 14 models is also present in the iPhone 15. Its peak brightness is 2000 nits. There is dust and water resistance.
The iPhone 15 Plus comes with a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Unlike the previous models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models feature a triple rear camera with a 48 MP main sensor and a 12 MP camera for selfies. Apple uses A16 Bionic chipset in iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. However, Apple has not disclosed the RAM and battery details. These details are likely to be revealed soon.
