Plus Points:

  • Rana Daggubati performance
  • Story
  • Cinematography
  • Sound design
  • Message

Minus Points:

  • Narration
  • Few illogical scenes
  • Editing

Performance: One of the biggest assets of the film Aranya is the presence of  Rana Daggubati .  Rana is brilliant in the role of Narendra Bhupathi as he portrays vulnerability and toughness with amazing ease. His  rugged appearance, body languages, the way of showing expression, are highlighted. He excelled in this role whose heart beats for the wild animals and the forest. The way Rana Daggubati connects with the elephants is heartwarming. Vishnu Vishal is fine. Sriya Pilgaonkar justifies with her role.  Anant Mahadevan, whose dream it is to set up the luxury township, is not very convincing. Rest of the cast of Aranya perform accordingly.

Technical:  The story of Aranya is interesting. Screenplay is well written that keeps the viewers glued onto the screen. On the technical front, the cinematography by A. R. Ashok Kumar is breath-taking.  The movie is rich on the visual side. The music is appealing and elevating scenes. Editing by Buvan is just ok. Production Value is top notch.  Finally the technician team of Aranya has proved their talents.

Analysis:  Aranya is an adventurous drama and you may watch  Rana Daggubati starrer for a different experience.
