Recently Telugu blockbuster movie Arjun Reddy completed three years since release in 2017. The movie starring the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey left viewers divided over its portrayal of toxic masculinity through its title character but it nevertheless remains one of the most trending films among the youngsters. The movie Arjun Reddy was released on 25th August 2017. On the occasion of 3rd anniversary, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the helmer of cult classic Arjun Reddy made a surprise announcement.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga attended an interview recently with a popular YouTube channel that he is planning to re-release Arjun Reddy with all the deleted scenes on 25th August, 2022.
The director Sandeep Reddy Vanga said, “We had an edited footage of 4 hour 20 minute duration of Arjun Reddy which was later trimmed down to 3 hour 45 minutes. But later it was shortened to 3 hour 6 minutes for the theatrical release. Kabir Singh fame director added, “The film Arjun Reddy would have been a much bigger hit had we released the 3 hour 45 minute version.”
According to Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film Arjun Reddy will be released with 3:45 hours version on its 5th anniversary on 25th August 2022.
