Armaan Kohli (46) allegedly beat up his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa. The incident occurred at around 4.30 pm on Sunday. A cased has been registered against Mr. Kohli at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station.
The Santacruz police registered a case against Bollywood actor-producer Armaan Kohli for allegedly hitting his live-in partner Neeru Randhawa, a fashion stylist, on Sunday night. According to police report, the 46-year-old Armaan Kohli has been accused by his live-in partner Neeru Randhawa, of beating her up after an argument broke out between the two.
Neeru Randhawa said, “Armaan Kohli grabbed my hairs and hit my head against the floor. I suffered head injuries so I was admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.”
The Police officer said that on Sunday night they received an EPR call from an hospital. After reaching hospital, they saw that Neeru Randhawa was receiving treatment for head injuries. They recorded Neeu Randhawa’s statement after which they came to know that Armaan Kohli has allegedly assaulted her.
Neeu Randhawa said, “We were discussing about money but soon Armaan Kohli lost his temper and started to hit me. “
Shantanu Pawar, senior police officer from Santacruz police station said, “A case has been registered against Armaan Kohli under sections 323, 326, 504 and 506. No arrest has been made yet. Our team could not found Armaan Kohli at the residence. He is absconding and police team is searching him.”
Armaan Kohli and Neeru Randhawa met through a common friend and soon fell in love. After dating several years, they started to live together. They have been in live-in-relationship since 2015.
Armaan Kohli started her filmy career with Virodhi in 1992. He was launched by his father and veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli. In Bollywood, the actor is popular for Jaani Dushman, Aulad Ke Dushman, Dushman Zamana and LOC: Kargil.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo star Armaan Kohli was also one of the participant of controversial reality show Bigg Boss. During the TV show, he started dating actress Tanishaa Mukerji. But soon they parted their ways due to alleged differences in personality and temperament.
