Audiences assume Ram Charan as Lord Ram – Vijayendra Prasad

Vijayendra Prasad, who is famous in Tollywood as a famous story writer and as Rajamouli’s father, has given many interviews during the opening ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir. As a senior citizen, a person who knows a lot about the status of Ram temple, several channels have conducted an interview program with the intention of getting some important inputs from him. He  shared some interesting details about RRR in a recent interview. Ram Charan played the role of Alluri Seetharamaraju getup in the climax, but the North audience misunderstood  Ram Charan as Lord Ram.

Vijayendra Prasad said, “There are two things that we should consider here. Firstly North Indian audiences assume Mega Power Star Ram Charan as Lord Ram that went in favor of the film. We never intended to showcase Ram Charan in the role of Lord Ram in RRR. We wanted to portray Allu Seetharamaraju on the screen. The name Ram is a part of Seetharamaraju, and also, he is a devotee of Lord Shri Ram.”

Vijayendra Prasad further said, “North Indian audiences felt as if Lord Ram had come right before them. We never had that thought during the scripting stage of RRR. It was a mere coincidence and it was not done intentionally.”
