Few days ago, AIIMS medical team formed by the CBI to carry on the autopsy on Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’ death clearly revealed that it was a suicide not murder. Central Bureau of Investigation- CBI is yet to issue and official statement in this regard. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences- AIIMS forensic panel under Dr Sudhir Gupta was formed at the request of CBI in the month of August to assist in giving medico-legal opinion in connection with the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Even Sushant Singh Rajput’ family’s lawyer has reacted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences report, and questioned the medical team on their findings.
A leaked audiotape that has been accessed by a news channel shows that Dr Sudhir Gupta saying that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered. He didn’t die by suicide. The medical board chief had made the statement after looking at the pictures of Sushant Singh Rajput during the autopsy.
Sushant Singh Rajput’ family is now demanding for a fresh forensic investigation.
Earlier in a statement, Dr Sudhir Gupta had said that they had concluded their conclusive report. It was a case of hanging and death by suicide. There were no injuries over the body of Sushant Singh Rajput other than hanging.
Cooper Hospital’ autopsy report had stated that Sushant Singh Rajput had died of ‘asphyxia due to hanging’.
