Sithara Entertainments, the popular production house has acquired the remake rights of Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The film originally stars Prithviraj and Biju Menon in the lead roles. Sithara Entertainments have pinned high hopes on the project and brought Sagar Chandra on board as the director.

Sagar Chandra has worked on the complete script and is ready with his version. Both Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati have agreed to play the lead roles. Then came the twist in the form of Power Star Pawan Kalyan.

He has shown interest in the remake and Sithara Entertainments though tried hard couldn’t find the right director who can handle Pawan Kalyan.

So, Power Star has decided to back off and start Krish’s project after the completion of Vakeel Saab. Now, Sithara Entertainments is thinking to stick to their original plan and go ahead.
