After a long wait, the teaser of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic Sanju, was released on Tuesday on 24th April. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanju has Ranbir Kapoor playing the titular role and has an ensemble cast of Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal. The released teaser has no signs of the female leads of the movie but we are not even complaining as Ranbir has owned every frame.
Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli has appreciated the 1.25-minute teaser of Sanju. Rajamouli tweeted, “Mind boggling… Ranbir Kapoor, take a bow… @RajkumarHirani is a master… #Sanju. [sic]” The words from one of the biggest filmmakers has grabbed the attention of the South Indian audience who have also taken to appreciating the film and actor.
The upcoming biopic is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, who has blockbusters like 3 Idiots and PK to his credits and bankrolled by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Many South Indian celebrities have lauded the teaser.
