Baahubali writer, yes, we are talking about Vijayendra Prasad, the father of SS Rajamouli. He is only one person from Baahubali team, who is doing bigger than the others. Everybody is aware of that Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty played the lead roles in SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series- Baahubali :The Beginning and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion. After Baahubali series, only Vijayendra Prasad is one who is milking the most.
After the release of Baahubali, none of the actor score hit but Vijayendra Prasad is still in limelight. He has penned the script of upcoming movie Manikarnika:The Queen of Jhansi in which Kangana Ranaut is playing the lead role. Recently during the trailer launch event of Manikarnika, Kangana Ranaut touched the feet of Vijayendra Prasad and the pic went viral on social media sites. Vijayendra Prasad is busy in penning the story for various film industries. Now according to the latest buzz, he is also providing the script to Netflix.
It has also come out that Vijayendra Prasad was reportedly the one, who encouraged Kangana Ranaut to direct Manikarnika that left Krish discontented.
The sources say that actually, Krish completed the shoot and gave the first copy to the makers as promised on time. But after seeing the first copy, Vijayendra Prasad asked Krish to add few more scenes, and Kangana Ranaut also agreed. But Krish, who had committed to the Telugu film (NTR biopic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan), said that those were not necessary and he didn’t want to do it again. So Krish left the project.
Since 1988, Vijayendra Prasad was the screenwriter for more than twenty five films, most of which turned out to be blockbusters.
Meanwhile, the much anticipated movie Manikarnika :The Queen of Jhani, is slated to be released on 25th January alongside another much awaited movie Thackeray, a biopic on Shiv Sena founder, Bal Thackeray.
