On Tuesday, Baba Ramdev Patanjali launched ‘Coronil and Swasari’, what it claims is the Ayurvedic medicine for treating Coronavirus/COVID-19, which they said has been shown 100 per cent favourable results during clinical trials on the affected patients. Baba Ramdev claimed to have made first Ayurvedic medicine against Covid-19.
WHO had recently said that while several drug trials are ongoing, there is currently no proof that any drug can cure or prevent Coronavirus/COVID-19. WHO had added that it was coordinating efforts to develop and evaluate medicines to treat Coronavirus.
Chief Executive Officer of Patanjali, Acharya Balkrishna, was also present at the occasion of the launch of ‘Coronil and Swasari’ along with other officials and representatives who had taken part in the preparation of the medicine.
Yoga Guru Ramdev said at a press conference in Hairdwar, adding that it has shown “100 per cent recovery rate within 3-7 days.”
Yoga Guru said that Patanjali was launching Coronil and Swasari- coronavirus medicines. They conducted two trials of these, first clinical controlled study, which took place in Delhi, Ahmedabad, among many other cities. Under this 280 patients were included and 100 % of those recovered. According to Baba Ramdev, they were able to control the deadly virus corona and its complications in this.
