Producer Ajay Kumar Singh has said he has moved a court in Ranchi against Ameesha Patel, accusing her of Rs 2.5 crore fraud after she borrowed money for her film ‘Desi Magic’. He added, “ We have filed a case after a cheque of Rs 3 cr bounced.”
He further said, “The arrest warrant will be issued against her. We went to court on 17th June with the request to issue a warrant since she is not responding, but the judge suggested to send a summon by the police before an arrest warrant.”
According to the producer Ajay Kumar, he met Ameeha Patel in 2017 when they had a discussion on the movie Desi Magic, which was under production and a major part of the shoot was done. However, the project got stuck in the middle due to the financial crisis. Ajay Kumar invested Rs 2.5 crore in this film.
Ajay Kumar is saying that Ameesha Patel is trying to escape from the debt whereas the actress is saying that she is not planning to run away and is promising to return back his money.
