According to the latest update, Nandamuri Balakrishna – the brother-in-law of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his relatives bought 500 acres of land in Andhra Pradesh Capital Amravati. This news has become the hot topic of discussion in Andhra Pradesh Political circle.
The government sources said Nandamuri Balakrishna, and his in-law bought 500 acres of large areas of lands in and around the capital, even before the declaration of Amaravati as the State capital. Current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been alleging that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government resorted to insider trading to benefit its leaders and close aides.
On the others ide, on Saturday, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that all aspects of the insider trading related to Amaravati would be exposed very soon. Botsa Satyanarayana slammed TDP regime for cheating the small, marginal, SC and ST farmers in capital region in the name of land pooling scheme.
The YSR government is expected to make its policy on Amaravati capital clear after the conclusion of ongoing budget session of the Assembly.
