Several top actors from Tollywood are now moving to television and OTT platforms. Superstars such as Young Tiger Jr NTR, Nagarjuna and Nani have entertained the masses with television programmes such as the Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati and the controversial reality show Bigg Boss. We have already reported that Venkatesh Daggubati is shooting for a Netflix series with Rana. The web series is titled “Rana Naidu”. Megastar Chiranjeevi is also considering appearing in a web series. All the movie industries are facing stiff competition from OTT platforms such as Amazon, Netflix, G5 and Hotstar. With this, the actors also want to test their luck on video streaming platforms. Now the reports are coming that Nandamuri Balakrishna is also making his debut on OTT platform.
If ongoing buzz in the media and the entertainment industry are to be believed, Balakrishna might step into the small screen place for the Aha platform. The Aha platform is in plans of coming up with a talk show and approached Lion star for the host role.
If the reports appear to be true, Balakrishna will be seen joining the list of Tollywood celebrities who have impressed us on the silver screen and small screen too. Balakrishna’ celebrity talk show is believed to be quite different from other shows.
On the otherside, Nandamuri fans are waiting for the release of Akhanda, which is helmed by Boyapati Srinu.
