Beautiful actress Amala Paul has filed a case of cheating and threatening against her estranged friend Bhavninder Singh Dhatt at the Villupuram police station. The case has been booked against Bhavninder Singh Dhatt under 16 sections of the law and police arrested him.
In her complaint, the actress has accused Bhavninder Singh Dhatt of cheating her in a business deal and Dhatt was also blackmailing her by threatening to upload her photographs on social media.
According to police, Amala and Bhavninder had started a film production company in the year 2018 and had since shifted to Periyamudaliyar Chavadi near Auroville. But later they parted their ways. She had invested heavily in the production company and produced the movie Cadaver.
The Police say that Bhavninder Singh Dhatt had manufactured forged documents and removed Amala Paul as a director of the production company.
After receiving the complaint, the police filed various cases against him including cheating, forgery, intimidation and harassment.
In 2020, Amala was in the news headlines when her wedding pics with Bhavninder Singh went viral on the social media but later the actress came forward to refute the rumor of her wedding. The actress claimed that the pics were clicked for professional work, and accused Bhavninder Singh of misusing it.
