Bhola Shankar Movie Review and Rating: Chiranjeevi, Tamannah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth, Ravi Shankar, Raghu Babu, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and others starrer action drama Bhola Shankar helmed by Meher Ramesh, has hit the theaters today on 11th August.  It is remake of Tamil film Vedalam. Let’s see the story of Bhola Shankar.

Story: Shankar (Chiranjeevi) comes to Kolkata with his sister Mahalakshmi (Keerthi Suresh). He drives a taxi. However, a mafia gang  led by Alex (Tarun Arora) in the city keeps kidnapping girls and selling them. The police are unable to catch them. Shankar (Chiranjeevi) targets the mafia. Why did Shankar actually target that mafia?, What is Shankar’s relationship with that mafia in the past?, What is Shankar’s track with lawyer Lasya(Tamannah Bhatia)? Who is Shankar? , Did Shankar finally end that mafia?, to get these answers  one should watch the movie Bhola Shankar on the silver screen.

 Plus Points:

·         Chiranjeevi’  performance

·         Casting

 Minus Points:

·         BGM

·         No high moment

·         Narration

·         Screenplay

Performance: Chiru played the role of Shankar brilliantly in rough and mass avatar. And Keerthy Suresh gave life to the role of Chiru’ sister. Sushant also acted well in another cameo character. Tamannah’s glamour is impressive. Murali Sharma’s performance is  very good. Sreemukhi has a remarkable character. Apart from her beauty, her acting is also impressive. Raghu Babu, Ravi Shankar, Vennela Kishore, Tulsi and rest of the cast also did full justice to their roles.

Technical:   The story of Bhola Shankar is routine, there is no any freshness. Coming on the work of the director Meher Ramesh, he did a below par job.  He failed to write good content. His screenplay is not interesting. Mahati Swara Sagar disappoints with the background score- BGM. The production values of AK Entertainments are very good. Editor work is noteworthy in the frenetic climax action scene which has some intelligent episodes and also plenty of outer-atmospheric elements in it.

Analysis:  Chiranjeevi’ energetic dance moves, plenty of mass moments in the fight scenes, Bhola Shankar is every hardcore Chiru’ fan’s ideal outing. And the director has also made sure to not miss out on the large family audience base by using the services of actors like Keerthy Suresh and Tamannah Bhatia. It’s clear that  Bhola Shankar is meant for the mass audience so the director has loaded it with all the possible elements.
