Yesterday Akhil Akkineni made official announcement regarding his 5th project as a lead actor which will be directed by Surender Reddy of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame. Now the sources close to Akhil revealed that Ram Charan is behind #Akhil5 project.
Akhil and Surender Reddy’ upcoming untitled project will be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara. Vakkantham Vamsi, a popular collaborator with Surender Reddy, will handle the story and screenplay. The rest of the cast and crew of #Akhil5 will be announced soon.
Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of King Nagarjuna, is struggling hard to score a hit in his career in the film industry. Though he has played the lead role in three movies but none of them clicked for him. Now he joined hands with Surender Reddy to get some luck in his career. There is a big twist behind this project of Akhil. The sources say that it was Ram Charan who set up this project for Akhil. Ram Charan requested Surender Reddy to give Akhil Akkineni a break and do a film for him.
On the otherside, Akhil will be next seen playing the lead role in Most Eligible Bachelor, which is being directed by Bhaskar. The romantic entertainer has Pooja Hegde in this film. Akhil Akkineni is playing a NRI while Pooja Hegde will be seen as a stand-up comedian.
