Abhinav Bindra is an Indian Olympic Gold medallist, retired sport shooter and businessman. He had won seven medals at the Commonwealth Games and 3 medals at the Asian Games. He is the first and one of only two Indians to win an Olympic Gold medal in 2008. Now, a biopic on this famous athlete is on cards.
The makers of the biopic have readied a perfect script of the film and they are making plans to take it on floors. It is also said that the film’s shoot would start in the beginning month of the coming year. The news was announced by Harshavardhan Kapoor, who is going to play the lead character in this movie.
This biopic was already announced in 2017, but there was no development in it. Now, Harshavardhan said that the biopic is taking its shape and is almost at the end of its pre production stage. He said that he has to do spadework to accomplish the project, as he is going to appear in an esteemed role in this biopic.
The story takes place in the time period of 15-20 years. The film also features Anil Kapoor, who is the father of Harshavardhan Kapoor. To surprise, both the real father and son are going to appear as reel father and son in this biopic. It will be produced by Anil Kapoor himself and Kannan Iyer is helming the prestigious project.
