BJP- Bharatiya Janatha Party leader from Telangana G Narayan Reddy has lodged a complaint against  the controversial film maker RGV aka Ram Gopal Varma for his allegedly derogatory tweets on Droupadi Murmu.

 The Twitter King RGV took to his Twitter and wrote: “When all politicians are so busy in back stabbing and pulling each other down , one wonders when they will have time and energy to look into people’s problems which is their primary job” He again tweeted, “This was said just in an earnest irony and not intended in any other way ..Draupadi in Mahabharata is my favorite character but Since the name is such a rarity I just remembered the associated characters and hence my expression. Not at all intended to hurt sentiments of anyone.”

 On 22nd June  Satya Helmer has written: If DRAUPADI is the PRESIDENT who are the PANDAVAS ? And more importantly, who are the KAURAVAS?

The Hyderabad police said they would soon register a criminal case against Ram Gopal Varma.  The police official added, “We have received the complaint against RGV. After we receive the legal opinion, we shall book a case against the film maker under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.”

BJP leader G Narayan Reddy said that Ram Gopal Varma’ comments were highly derogative and humiliating for a senior lady politician and former Governor of Jharkhand.
