The government of Saudi Arabia has made booster shots compulsory for it’s citizens to travel abroad. The people who were administered with a booster shot of Covid vaccine will be eligible to travel abroad from January 9, said the Saudi Arabian directorate.

But kids below 16 years will be excused from this protocol, and those who appear in the exempt category status on the Tawakkalna app. In the interim, the citizens of Saudi Arabia will be permitted to enter the nation only after providing a negative RT PCR or antigen test results within 48 hours.

People who received the Covid booster shot are considered immune in the nation’s Tawakkalna app for those over 18 years and who were vaccinated more than 8 months ago. Those who have administered with a double dose of vaccine, they will get a booster shot in three months after the infliction of second dose.

Saudi Arabia reported 3852 Covid cases in the last 24 hours, and since from the begging of the pandemic, the country’s total cases count has reached to 699,069, said health ministry.
