Post stirring up the AP capital confusion, Municipal minister Botsa Satyanarayana has went on to spill water on Amaravathi metro rail. On getting to the details it is known that Botsa had a detailed meeting with the officials of Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation (AMRC) on the project. Where the officials have presented the detailed report which would cost the government 20,000 crores for its completion, reportedly.
From the sources, it was known as the Botsa hinted the officials saying that 20,000 crores accompanied by interest amount will put a severe burden on the state government.
The minister has further asked the officials to put the project on hold for time being which made AMRC officials leave the meeting with no words. In considering the facts, with the AP Bifurcation Act and the ‘Special Package’ announced by the central government, Amaravati Metro can be easily constructed and along with that phase-wise construction will surely lessen the burden to the government, though Botsa didn’t get convinced.
Now, it has to wait and see how the opposition will backfire on Botsa leaks in regards to Amaravati metro.
