Balakrishna starrer upcoming action drama Akhanda with filmmaker Boyapati Srinu is one of the much awaited movie of Telugu film industry. The film marks the third collaboration between the actor and director after Simha and Legend. The makers of the film launched the title of the film along with a one-minute teaser on the occasion of Ugadi. From Balakrishna mouthing dialogues in his trademark style to fighting people, the teaser promises an intense action entertainer. The film Akhanda has Pragya Jaiswal as the leading lady and the reports are coming that she is playing the role of an IAS officer whereas Srikanth is playing an antagonist.
Recently during the media interaction, Boyapati Srinu, who is known for making mass masala movies, talked about Akhanda and its release date. The director revealed that except for a song, small patchwork and the climax, the shoot is pretty much complete. Boyapati also said that the team is currently on the hunt for locations for the climax shoot. They are visiting the historical sites in Kadapa and Chittoor districts.
Speaking about the release date of ‘Akhanda’, Boyapati said they have not locked the release date. In view of the third wave of the Coronavirus, they want to release Balakrishna starrer only when the audience is safe.
Balakrishna starrer Akhanda is bankrolled by Dwaraka Creations and it has music by S Thaman whereas the cinematography is handled by Ram Prasad.
