The atrocity took place in Duggira of Pedavegi mandal of Eluru district. A young man raped the beloved engineering student by pouring hot oil on her legs and hands. Currently, the victim is undergoing treatment at the hospital, while the accused is absconding.
The issue came to light after victim informed her parents, who rescued her and admitted her to the Eluru Government Hospital, and lodged a complaint with Eluru Three Town police.
If we go into the complete details, the young lady from Eluru is studying BTech third year in a college in Kakinada. Her mother is a home guard. Four years ago, the young woman met a young man named Sadarla Anudeep. After that they fell in love.
Anudeep came to the college on 9th of this month and kept her in a room saying that he would get married. She resisted when he tried to rape her that same night. So the next day he drank alcohol and tried to rape again. This time too when she resisted, he heated the oil and poured it on her legs and hands. He raped her while she was reeling in pain. From then on, he tortured her daily. After that he locked the room from outside and leave.
In this order, on the 22nd of this month, the young man who had drunk alcohol tried to strangle the young woman. She escaped from him, grabbed the phone and called her father. The parents immediately reached her address. However, the accused Anudeep had already escaped from the spot.
The police revealed the accused, a native of Duggirala village, who worked as an auto rickshaw driver, and the woman, a third-year BTech student of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada, were in a relationship for 5 years.
