It is known that the Center has made huge allocations for the Indian Railways this time in the Budget (Budget 2023). Indian Railways will launch services of Vande Metro on the lines of Vande Bharat trains very soon which are operating across the country. It has been revealed that these will run across the country on the same lines as Vande Bharat Trains. This good news was announced by Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw after the presentation of Union Budget 2023 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in parliament.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said: The Vande Metro will be developed by the Railways for people living around big cities to travel to and fro in comfort between their place of work and hometowns. It will provide a new experience to the passengers. However, the Railway Department is already engaged in manufacturing the semi-high speed version of the Vande Bharat trains.
The minister added that for making travelling easier for passengers of nearby areas of a state, Vande metro trains, completely manufactured in country India under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will soon be introduced in the country.
Vande metro is being developed to help people travel in comfort from their hometowns to offices in big cities.
