Naira Shah is a well known face for the Telugu people as she has worked with Aadi Saikumar in movie ‘Burra Katha’. Now according to the latest update, Naira Shah has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau -NCB in Mumbai on the charges of consuming banned substances. Burra Katha actress was arrested in the wee hours of Sunday morning but the news came out late.
Naira Shah is making headlines after she and her friend Ashiq Sajid Husain were arrested by the NCB on 13th June following consumption of charas from a hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau searched the hotel room as part of its probe into the drug use. During the search, the NCB recovered one gram of Charas, rolled into cigarettes.
The sources revealed that the room was raided at 3 am and Naira Shah and Ashiq Sajid were in possession of Charas. Police claimed that Naira Shah had celebrated her birthday party at the hotel and after the birthday party, he and her friend Ashiq Sajid Husain went to their suite.
Currently the investigation of this drug case is going on. The police are trying to find out whether Naira Shah is involved in any drug racket.
