Kannada actor Darshan is currently busy in the promotional activities of his upcoming film, Kranti, in Karnataka. On Sunday, South star Darshan took part in an event at Hosapete, Karnataka. A miscreant, who’s a Puneeth Rajkumar fan, threw his slipper at Darshan, because of the actor’ s……xist remark on Lady Luck. The actor’ comments angered many who called out his misogynistic views towards the women. A video of this incident went viral on social media. Many are responding to the actor’ act in various ways.
On the otherside, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar released a video message and condemned this act. He also asked the people to refrain from such activities.
This incident gave a huge shock to everyone. Several cops were seen around Kannada star Darshan immediately after the attack. After the incident, the actor said, “It is not your mistake brother, no problem,” and tried to calm down his angry fans.
Recently during an interview Darshan had said, “Goddess of Luck doesn’t knock on the door always. When she knocks, grab her, drag her into the bedroom and strip her n….ked. If you give her clothes, she will go out.”
Darshan starrer Kranti is slated to hit the theaters on January 26. The upcoming entertainer is directed by V Harikrishna. Actress Rachita Ram is playing the female lead in this film of Darshan.
