Ram Gopal Varma alias RGV who is popular for making controversial movies,  received a rude shock from the regional censor board on his upcoming movie ‘Disha Encounter.’

According to the latest update, CBFC panel in Hyderabad has refused to certify  Ram Gopal Varma’ film Disha Encounter, which  is based on the gang rape cum murder of a young lady doctor in Shamshabad that shook the entire country in  the month of November, 2019.

The censor committee declined to issue a certificate to the movie ‘Disha Encounter.’  After hearing this  RGV, who was shocked, has approached the eight members revision committee and is waiting for the decision. The revision committee will take all aspects into consideration before issuing the censor certificate and has also asked the producers to submit 15 copies of the synopsis and songs of  the movie Disha Encounter, which  is based on the true events and the case is also pending in the court.

The movie Disha Counter is helmed by Anand Chandra  under the supervision of Ram Gopal Varma and it is jointly bankrolled by

Natti Kranthi and Natti Karuna. The film has Srikanth Iyengar, Sonia and Praveen Raj  in the lead roles and it is slated to hit the theaters on 19th February.  Sonia Akula is playing the role of Disha in RGV’ film.
