Tollywood macho star Gopichand came up with spy thrillers drama Chanakya, which was released on 5th October 2019 and received mixed response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day.
According to the latest update, Chanakya is turning out disaster at the USA box office. Till date the movie has minted $4.8K at the USA box office. The movie competes with Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer periodic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff starrer War at the box office. Though both the movies- Sye Raa and War are doing superb collections at USA box office but the collections of Chanakya, directed by Tamil film maker Thiru is below par.
Sye Raa has already joined the club of $2 Million club at USA box office. According to traders report, Chanakya minted less than one crore share at the box office of both Telugu States on its opening day which includes Rs.27 lakhs share in Nizam. And there is no improvement of Chanakya’ collections on day two as well.
Gopichand is playing RAW Agent in Chanakya which has Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Zareen Khan in the female leads. Directed by Thiru, produced by Rama Brahmam Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments, the film has the music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
