The pan-Indian film movement is a new trend in Indian cinema that features elements of various regional Indian languages and cultures in one single movie. The upcoming film Cicada is a pan India movie featuring a bunch of new faces on screen with fresh talents working for it to offer a fresh experience.
Cicada is Sreejith Edavana`s debut as a director. Produced by Vandana Menon and Gopakumar P under Theerna Films and Entertainment banner, the film features Rajith CR, Gayatri Mayura, and Jaise Jose in lead roles. This movie was shot in Bangalore, Attapadi, Vagamon, and Kochi.
Meanwhile, the film’s Telugu first look is unveiled. Tollywood’s successful director Chandoo Mondeti and Bigg Boss 4 winner and actor Syed Sohel Ryan launched the first look poster. The first look poster sees intense faces of the lead cast and there’s a bull in the jungle. The poster makes a good impression on the movie.
Not only in the Telugu language, this movie has been made in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages also.
The movie has the same title and the same story in 4 different languages. Songs will be unique since different tunes have been composed for every language to retain the flavor and nativity of each region. Songs are going to hit the jukebox soon. Sound design is one of the main attraction factors of this movie.
The film’s director Sreejith Edavana who is a well-known music composer scored the soundtracks for the movie. He worked in the Tamil and Malayalam Movie industry and composed musical hits like “Kaadhal En Kaviye” and “Nenjodu Cherthu.”
Naveen Raj is the cinematographer, and Shyjith Kumaran is the editor. Ravitheja Amaranarayan penned the wonderful lyrics for the songs of this film.
