Charminar Express, coming from Chennai to Hyderabad, met with an accident as loco pilot did not pay attention to the dead end line, due to which the train coaches derailed from the track.
Charminar Express met with an accident at Nampally railway station. The incident took place at around 9:15 AM. The reports are coming that more than 10 passengers were injured in this incident. Three coaches of the train got derailed in the incident. Around five people who stood near the doors of the train suffered minor injuries in the incident. More details about this accident are yet to be known.
South Central Railway responded to the Charminar Express accident. It said that all the passengers are safe. It said that some people suffered minor injuries. It has been revealed that the rescue operations are continuing. The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
Rakesh, CPRO, South Central Railway revealed that the Railway station is a terminal station where trains end. The train should have stopped before the end, however the train overshot. Three coaches of the train got derailed in the incident. Around 5 people who stood near the doors of the train suffered minor injuries in the incident. They are being treated at the Railway Hospital.
