A case has been registered in court against Bholaa Shankar movie starring Chiranjeevi and Tamannah Bhatia. One of the most sought-after distributors down south, Vizag Satish filed this case saying that the producers of this film, Anil Sunkara and Garikapati Krishna Kishore, cheated him. He revealed the facts related to this case to the media through a press note on Wednesday (August 8).
One of the most sought-after distributors down south, Vizag Satish, has moved court against ‘Bholaa Shankar’, seeking a stay on the film’s release.
Vizag Satish claimed that producer Anil Sunkara, who had also bankrolled the 2023 film ‘Agent’ starring Akhil Akkineni, is yet to pay a huge sum of money to him regarding the distribution rights of the film.
The distributor Vizag Satish, who owns Gayatri Films, asked court to halt Bholaa Shankar until his dues were cleared.
Vizag Satish said that earlier this year, he had bought AP, Telangana and Karnataka distribution rights of Agent for Rs 30 crore. However, ahead of the release, he was given the rights only for Vizag, which was worth just Rs 1.50 crore, and due to that, he incurred heavy losses.
Vizag Satish, distributor requested the court to give a stay order to hold the release of #BholaaShankar until the producer return/compensate for the losses he incurred from Agent.
