After delivering successful movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Megastar Chiranjeevi is getting ready to start the shoot of his next upcoming flick, which will be helmed by Koratala Siva, who is popular for making social message oriented movies. Koratala Siva’ previous offering was Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani starrer Bharat Ane Nenu which is a hit and there are heavy expectations now on the combination of Chiranjeevi and Siva. According to the reports, Chiranjeevi will play a dual role in Koratala Siva’ directorial venture. Chiranjeevi will essay the roles of Govind and Acharya , and the movie will revolves around temple scam.
Set in the backdrop of Srikakulam, Chiranjeevi and Koaratal Siva starrer is about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of the temple funds and the donations.
Chiranjeevi starrer will revolve around some real incidents that have taken place in Andhra Pradesh state in the past, about a major temple scam. The art department has already start to build two sets replicating a middle-class colony in Kokapet and are also contemplating the construction of another set resembling the Simhachalam Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple.
Trisha Krishnan is on the board to play the female lead. An official word is awaited. Currently the team is in the hunt of another female lead. Bollywood music composers duo Ajay-Atul will score the music. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is producing the movie under Konidela Productions Company banner, in association with Matinee Entertainments production house. Interestingly, Ram Charan had produced Chiranjeevi’s comeback film Khaidi No: 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Chiranjeevi is said to be undergoing a major transformation for his physical appearance to fit into the role Koratala has designed for him. Apparently, Koratala Siva has requested Chiranjeevi to shed some weight as the character he has etched out for him so demands.
