According to the latest buzz in the film industry, megastar Chiranjeevi is showing interest to act in a Telugu movie which is a remake of Thala Ajith starrer Tamil blockbuster movie Yennai Arindhaal.
Apparently, Khaidi No 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame Chiranjeevi wants to remake Yennai Arindhaal in Telugu and has already initiated work for the same. Ram Charan’ Konidela Productions had acquired the remake rights of Ajith starrer Yennai Arindhaal long back and now Chiru has started the hunt for a director. Very soon Chiranjeevi will take a final call in this regard and make the official announcement regarding this project.
Ajith starrer Yennai Arindhaal is directed by Gautham Menon, and produced by AM Rathnam under the banner Shri Sai Ram Creations whereas presented by S Aishwarya. In this film Anushka Shetty played the female lead role.
Apart from Yennai Arindhaal remake, Megastar also has Lucifer remake and Vedhalam remake in his kitty. He will join the sets of Lucifer remake from this month and he will commence shooting for Vedhalam remake in the latter half of the year. Currently he is working with Koratala Siva for Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal as a leading lady and Ram Charan in cameo.
